5-20 May

The Surbiton Food Festival is back for a sixth year, with the event building on last year’s success which saw 50 local businesses take part and attract 10,000 visitors.

Says Gemma Bull, festival coordinator: “While the festival is centred around food, it is actually all about community and fun. It’s a chance to catch up with old friends over a burger, meet new people at a workshop or an event, or experience something new from a business you might otherwise have been unaware of.” Highlights include the wonderfully bizarre Seething Sardine Festival (complete with a procession featuring giant guinea pigs), the Surbiton Village Fete, and the Seething Community Sports Day and Picnic.
